We are Gather Social and we were born disruptive, and we are looking for you to come and be disruptive too.

We are a rapidly growing Social Media Agency, Consultancy and Software company. We offer our clients full creative services and access to utilise our bespoke content management system. The portfolio of our clients doesn’t get more diverse, and our outlook on communications, culture and personal development have been recognised by leading business figures as setting a benchmark for future generations.


If you love social media and you have a creative mindset, we would like you to apply for this role. You will be curious and inquisitive with a thirst to learn. You will want to be stimulated on a daily basis and desire responsibility straight from day one. As we are a close team (more like a family) therefore, it’s essential that you are a team player and take direction quickly, whilst also be willing to take creative decisions backed by data.

The role

The role on offer is very flexible and diverse. Your time will be split 80/20. 80% of the time you will be working on existing and new clients social media campaigns and paid advertising strategies. 20% of your time you will oversee Gather Social’s marketing activities and bring the team and business ideas to life. A list of some of the things your role will include are listed below:

  • Creative writing for all social media channels
  • Blog writing for clients and Gather Social
  • Handling inbound content requests
  • Image sourcing and formatting
  • Creating graphics and infographics
  • Uploading content to various platforms like WordPress
  • Compiling visual reports for clients
  • Compile visual sales assets and presentations
  • Social Media and Community management

We are small but we are rapidly expanding gaining clients on a weekly basis from across the UK, with particular emphasis on the East Midlands and London. We are pushing the boundaries of what our clients expect from a marketing agency. We were born disruptive and we are disputing our marketplace. We are building a business based on fairness, equality and a passion for excellence. We believe in supporting you to be the very best. We aren’t expecting you to be the finished article on day one. The Managing Director and management team will provide you with hands-on training from day one. You will be supported through training courses and education where necessary.

Post/Newly qualified Graduate or Direct Social Media Agency experience

Our workday is 9.00 -5.30 give or take, with flexible working available.

We are based in Nottingham.

Employment status

Permanent subject to 3 months probation


20 days

plus 8 bank holidays and Christmas leave
